INFiera was established in 1991 as a non-profit association, promoted by Confesercenti, in order to promote, by the respect of the environment, the development of tourism and general services, in Italy and especially in Abruzzo. All this is made through the promotion of initiatives for the growth of the tourist entrepreneurial activities, in the light of the primary need of compatibility between their development and the safeguard and protection of the environment.
In 1995 Infiera became a Ltd and with the entry of FIAVET Abruzzo and Molise we have the first unitary company of the two “Worlds” of Commerce and Tourism, members of Confcommercio and Confesercenti.
Over the years INFiera specializes in supplying professional advices, planning and assistance to public bodies and private institutions working in tourism. The “know how” of the company founds on the careful and constant study of the logics behind the national and international policies. The acquired experience and the relationship with the trade and with the main institutions allow this company to achieve incisive and profitable actions of promotion in Italy and abroad.

1991-2006: ECOTUR -Nature - Tourist Workshop - is the International Fair and Exhibition of Nature Tourism, made in collaboration with the Abruzzo Region, Enit and Alitalia. |

1996-2006: ARIAPERTA, the tool event for the promotion and the interregional tourist enhancement of the area of the Trigno Valley. It is organized with the the Town of San Salvo and in collaboration with the Provinces of Chieti, Campobasso and Isernia. The exhibition display of the typical products and the local handicrafts ends with in-depth studies about the development potentials of the territory. |

2002-2006: Tourism through the Paths of Religion, History, Culture, is a programme of enhancement and promotion of the rich religious, historical and cultural heritage of Abruzzo, jewel of the regional tourist policy that has the Town of Lanciano as its leader. The programme schedules promotion actions abroad (2003-Trier Germany, 2004 Fitur-Madrid Spain, 2005 SMT-Paris France, 2005 SITC-Barcelona, Spain, 2005/2006 T&T Warsaw Poland, 2006 CBR- Munich Germany) and the Workshop “Religious and Cultural Tourism” that takes place yearly in Lanciano. |

2005-2006: ENOTRIA – Wine Workshop, has the aim of enhancing the Abruzzo wine production and promote the territory, this is why it is a special moment of “one to one” business with the foreign buyers that meet the regional wine producers in the glamorous location of the “La Civitella”, Archaeological Museum of Chieti. |

Ecotur Report on Nature Tourism, created and published together with Enit, Istat, the University of L’Aquila, the Abruzzo Region and Fondazione Abruzzo Europa. The Report, at its 4th edition in 2006, is an useful tool for those working in this particular tourist area because its helps to understand its dynamics and trends, the flows it moves and the economic impact of the Nature Tourism on the national and international business.
“Itineraries on the Trigno Valley” is a guidebook with 8 tourist itineraries complete with all the detailed and updated information for the most demanding tourist, in search of the territory and the local typical productions.
“Tourism through the Paths of Religion, History, Culture” suggests some itineraries through the rich religious, artistic and cultural heritage of Abruzzo. The guidebook is also available in English, German, Spanish and Polish.
