ECOTUR REPORT ON NATURE TOURISM

Published in collaboration with Enit, Istat, the University of L’Aquila, the Abruzzo Region and Fondazione Abruzzo Europa, is an useful and somehow unique tool for those, travellers or operators, who want to know and live the nature tourism.

The Observatory of Nature Tourism has been working in this project for 4 years. A technical-scientific committee, expressly constituted, has collected statistical data, registered numbers, made analysis and inquiries, defined the profiles and the dynamics of the nature tourism world

Ecotur, International Exhibition of the VerdeBlu Tourism, by forestalling and understanding the “new tourists” ’s needs, created the Nature Tourist Workshop and the Ecotur Report, aware of the need of protecting the main good by adding to business knowledge and responsability.

The Report, thanks to the way it deals with complex issues and for the many directions it gives, is also a teaching supporting tool for students and faculties, institutions and associations, and for those interested in nature tourism, its conservation and its mindful use.
